Job summary

Building & Earth Sciences, Inc seeks a Construction Materials Testing Level II Technician in Oklahoma City. You will perform field tests on soil, concrete, grout, mortar and asphalt, document results, and communicate findings clearly on site.

The role requires current CMT experience, ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Level I, ICC Soils Special Inspector certification, and the ability to work nights/weekends as needed. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience in CMT and the ability to perform field testing and observations.
• Must pass relevant tests or have valid certifications as listed.
• Able to prepare clear test records and reports for documentation.
• Computer literacy and ability to learn company software.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and ethical field conduct.

Responsibilities

• Receive, understand and execute written and verbal directions.
• Review civil specs and identify sections applicable to field work.
• Perform tests and inspections with minimal supervision.
• Submit daily field reports documenting testing and observations.
• Document non-conforming items to project supervision.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment per standards.
• Operate and care for nuclear density gauge following safety program.
• Demonstrate proficiency in One-Point Proctor testing in the field.
• Read detailed plans and specifications effectively.
• Monitor mortar, grout sampling and asphalt placement as needed.
