Job summary

Building & Earth Sciences, Inc. is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Technician - Level I to join our field team in Augusta, GA.

The role observes tests, documents results, and supports field inspections for soil, concrete, grout, mortar and asphalt on project sites. The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of experience, holds the ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Level I certification, and can work nights and weekends with reliable transportation to branch locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of field testing experience.
• ACI Level I certification required.
• Ability to perform tests and document results accurately.
• Strong attention to safety and quality.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and execute written and verbal directions.
• Perform tests and field observations per project requirements.
• Submit daily field reports documenting testing and inspections.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment; transport gauge as needed.
• Travel to sites within ~100 miles; flexible schedule.
