Job summary

Simtec Materials Testing is seeking a dynamic Materials Site Technician to join our construction materials team. You will conduct on-site testing, QA, and documentation to ensure project specifications and safety standards.

The role involves travel to multiple sites and close collaboration with project managers and engineers. We value a positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction industry preferred but not essential.
• Training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Physical ability to lift equipment and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• On-site material testing and documentation for concrete, soil, aggregates, and asphalt.
• Quality assurance of materials delivered to sites and reporting findings to the project team.
• Accurate recording of test results and preparation of reports.
• Travel to various job sites, with occasional overnight stays.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site personnel to support project execution.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
