Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking Field Technicians to sample fresh concrete, run slump, air, temperature tests, and cast cylinders on live job sites. You’ll work outdoors, learn field testing procedures, and help ensure quality at every stage of construction.

You do not need prior certifications to start; we train you and sponsor ACI Field Grade I, nuclear gauge safety, and NICET levels as you progress. Pay ranges from $18 to $28 per hour with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver''s license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable, detail-first, and coachable.
• ACI Field Grade I and NICET certifications are a plus; company sponsors.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody; communicate results on site.
