Job summary

Construction Material Testing is hiring field technicians to sample fresh concrete, perform slump, air and temperature tests, and cast cylinders. You’ll verify soil compaction with a nuclear density gauge and document results the same day.

No experience is required for entry level as we train and we pay for your certifications, including ACI Field Grade I and nuclear gauge safety. Outdoor, physical work and daily reporting are core aspects.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Reliable, detail-focused and coachable.
• We sponsor ACI Field Grade I and nuclear gauge certification.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064 and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938; prepare daily reports.
• Maintain gauge calibration, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on site.
