Certerra-Southern Engineering in Raleigh, NC is hiring an entry level Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technician to perform testing of concrete, grout and mortar on active construction sites to verify compliance with project documents.

The job requires outdoor work in all kinds of weather, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
• Exhibit excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and/or within team environments.

Responsabilités

• Concrete/Grout/Mortar inspection and testing with proper placement techniques.
• Asphalt: establish test locations and check load temperature; core drilling as needed.
• Soil/Aggregate testing: density/compaction, moisture content, bearing capacity checks.
• General duties include excavation quantification and material verification on site.
