Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Field Material Controller for Advanced Manufacturing at our Saint Francisville, LA area site to manage capital equipment materials under supervision. You will handle material control tasks, ensure shipment releases per purchase orders, and maintain documentation while coordinating with the project team.

The role emphasizes on-site work, collaboration, and adherence to policy; OSHA certification is preferred, and the base salary is disclosed in the posting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent project experience required.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Certificate; OSHA 30 preferred.
• MS Office skills including Excel at an intermediate to advanced level.
• Experience with Materials Management software and procurement processes (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• On-site work in Saint Francisville, LA.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of material control processes and tools used in capital projects.
• Review shipment release requests and ensure approvals per PO terms and Material Control plan.
• Advise stakeholders on shipment releases and overall authorization process.
• Administer MRRs, MIRs, OS&Ds, and preserve material records.
• Maintain material control documentation and identify risks to management.
• Coordinate OS&D resolution with project/department teams.
