Job summary

Sears in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Field Supervisor to lead a team of 5-15 hourly In Store Marketers and drive performance across assigned stores. The role focuses on recruiting, training, coaching and maintaining strong relationships with store management to meet program goals.

You’ll manage staffing budgets, monitor performance, and collaborate with HR and market coordinators to optimize lead conversion and revenue while traveling within the territory.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation required for traveling within assigned territory.
• Experience in managing and developing non-exempt associates.
• Experience in recruiting, hiring and training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed budgeted staffing hours, lead flow, productivity, stores staffed, hot calls, confirmation, net revenue and CLPH per SOPs.
• Manage, hire, train and motivate a team of 5-15 hourly In Store Marketers.
• Monitor weekly reports for improvement performance with In Store Marketers.
• Communicate weekly with assigned APC Market Coordinator to identify opportunities for lead conversion budget for the territory.
• Under the direction of the Assistant Manager oversee the Take-The-Lead Program with the FLS store management team and associates.
• Communicate regularly with HR Reps to target areas for staffing needs and alternative recruiting sources.
• Utilize In-store Recruiting Hotline call sheet responses to ads placed. Utilize Sears and other sourcing options.
• Maintain consistency in using best practices for recruiting, hiring, training processes.
• Utilize competency based interviewing skills, motivational techniques.
• Complete performance appraisals for In Store Marketers.
• Attend periodic sales meetings with sales branch office.
• Mystery shop In Store Marketers for coaching and training purposes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
