Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Field Marketing & Event Pipeline Manager in San Francisco. The role owns events as a core pipeline source, blending marketing with a sales mindset, and involves on-site booth conversations, attendee qualification, and calendar scheduling before shows end.

You will collaborate with demand gen and rev ops, book meetings ahead of time, follow up within 48 hours, manage event budgets, and help build the company’s own events.

Qualifications

• Background in field marketing or SDR/BDR with enterprise selling exposure.
• Ability to prospect at events, book meetings, and turn conversations into pipeline.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% and work in-office in San Francisco.

Responsibilities

• Set meetings and pipeline goals for every event and hit them.
• Work attendee lists weeks ahead of shows with sales and demand gen, booking meetings.
• Staff the booth, run on-site meetings, and loop in a product expert when needed.
• Follow up within 48 hours with contextual notes and update HubSpot.
• Manage event budget and calendar of 10+ conferences, including logistics and vendors.
• Help start the company’s own events, like executive dinners and regional gatherings.
• Shape the calendar by evaluating which shows generate pipeline versus cost.
• Arrange pre/post trip meetings with nearby prospects to extend the conference window.
