Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Market Development Leader II in the Deerfield Beach, FL area. The role partners with Independent Operators and Master Distributors to expand market share, while aligning with the Sales Operations Director on strategies and targets.

The MDL II will drive store-level execution, communications, and promotions, and will travel frequently to support IOs and distributors across the region.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales operations, preferably in snacks, grocery, or beverage.
• Familiarity with Independent Operator/Distributor models and agreements.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
• Demonstrated ethical selling, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Communicate sales, service, and merchandising strategies to IOs and distributors.
• Maintain proactive relationships and ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Prepare weekly volume, inventory reports and KPI scorecards.
• Provide a weekly planner to the SOD and support workshop planning.
• Conduct store visits, promote promotions, and support product distributions.
