Job summary

PestCo currently seeks a Field Manager in Tyler, TX to lead day-to-day operations, supervise technicians, and drive service quality while managing payroll, inventory, and staffing needs. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and field presence to ensure high KPI performance.

The candidate should have pest control licensing, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license; successful background checks and physical capability are required.

Qualifications

• Motivated high performer!
• 1 or more years’ customer service experience & supervisory experience is preferred.
• Developing Communication skills effectively through verbal, written and in person.
• Develop ability to interpret and understand P&L and how it affects operations of branch.
• Licensed in appropriate pest control categories and states.
• Ability to develop Computer Skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Valid Driver’s license with good driving record.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Trained in General Pest, Commercial Pest, Termite Pest, Bed Bug Service is preferred.
• Pass Background check, drug screening.
• Must be able to demonstrate ability to perform physical aspects of the job (must be able to lift 50 lbs.).

Responsibilities

• Support Service Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Fill in for absent Technicians by servicing customer accounts. Spend at least 50% of your time in the field evaluating Technician service quality or performing service when demand exceeds available resources.
• With guidance from Service Manager, achieve and maintain proficiency in all aspects of Service Manager duties to include: Payroll Process and Understanding Production and Hourly Pay; Product Inventory and Maintenance; Assist in Maintaining adequate staffing.
• Ensure that you and your team maintain a professional appearance, positive working relationships with co-workers and customers.
• Promote an “All Star” technician team.
• Guarantee Safety by using appropriate PPE, safety equipment and good judgement under all working conditions.
• Maintain company fleet and ensure vehicles are always in safe and prime operational conditions, while keeping equipment and supply inventories to capacity.
• Promote and motivate your team to discover new opportunities through referrals and self-generated leads.
