Job summary

Fischer Homes in Dayton, OH is seeking a full-time Summer 2027 Co-Op/Intern to gain hands-on experience in the new home construction process. You will work alongside Field Managers, trade partners, and customers to learn scheduling, PO management, and warranty service administration.

This internship emphasizes applying real data to problems, delivering exceptional customer service, and developing construction knowledge through diverse job scopes and on-site orientations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fields.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service.
• Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside our construction Field Managers as they manage the new home build process from start to finish.
• Communicate with trade partners, vendors, and customers on the progress of the homes.
• Completes PACE eLearning courses.
• Participate in Sapphire training to gain knowledge in scheduling, purchase order management and warranty service administration.
• Observe home orientations.
• Develops and gains an understanding of new home construction knowledge by completing a variety of job scopes.
