Job summary

Christensen, Inc. in Seattle seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain equipment, machinery, and facility upkeep, with 50% travel to customer sites across the Northwest.

You will perform site visits, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and maintain safety logs to ensure optimal operation. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with technical certification or equivalent, 2+ years in maintenance, and strong problem-solving and teamwork skills to uphold safety standards across varied

Qualifications

• Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system knowledge.
• Ability to learn basic construction skills such as framing, drywalling, trim work, etc.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer site visits throughout WA, OR, and ID; operate power washing and parking lot striping equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance on company-owned equipment, properties and offices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and other equipment problems to maintain operations.
• Ensure equipment meets safety and performance standards; maintain maintenance logs and records.
• Own the preventative maintenance program, coordinating scheduled maintenance and inspections.
• Identify and evaluate process improvements to increase efficiency, improve quality, or reduce costs.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and safety.
