Job summary

WP Rawl is seeking a Project Manager Assistant to join the Plant Maintenance team in Pelion, SC. This hands-on role focuses on day-to-day project execution, working with contractors and internal teams to keep projects moving forward.

The position requires 1+ year of coordination experience and 2+ years of technical trade exposure in industrial settings, with strong organizational and communication skills. 75% field work, 25% admin tasks, and a valid driver's license are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience coordinating projects or operations.
• 2+ years of recent technical trade experience in industrial settings.
• Experience with industrial electrical, mechanical, fabrication, hydraulic or pneumatic systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and learning PM software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities for maintenance, facility, and capital projects.
• Monitor progress of ongoing work and maintain presence in project areas.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, internal departments, materials, deliveries, and schedules.
• Ensure contractors have access to information, materials and resources.
• Work with Production, Maintenance, QA, IT and other teams to resolve issues.
• Track project status and communicate to affected teams.
