Job summary

Tetra Pak in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to perform complex maintenance and installation on food processing equipment. You will work hands-on with cutting-edge equipment to keep global production running safely and efficiently, traveling to customer sites across the country.

As part of Customer Service Operations, you will diagnose issues, restore equipment performance, and support production during events.

Qualifications

1+ years hands-on equipment maintenance experience.
Experience with food processing or packaging equipment preferred or equivalent fields.
High school, vocational or technical diploma focused on hands-on work.
Able to travel extensively across the United States, about 90% travel.
Conversational English skills (written and verbal).
Customer-focused, proactive, safety-first mindset.
Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to expand technical knowledge.
Valid driver's license required for extensive travel by car and air.
Authorized to work in the United States full-time without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites and perform preventive maintenance per global Tetra Pak standards.
Disassemble and re-assemble capital equipment for maintenance.
Install tasks including electromechanical rebuilding kit installations.
Test, calibrate, and verify equipment readiness.
Document and report service work using TPMS tools.
Serve as a technical resource for customers during production events.
Propose ideas to improve customer productivity and business development.
Represent Tetra Pak professionally and maintain customer relationships.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow safety protocols per OHS and Tetra Pak regulations.
