Job summary

Ultipro in Texas is seeking a Machine Technician Trainee to provide high-quality repair service on equipment, respond to customer needs, and maximize value of work performed.

You will complete assigned jobs within flat rate times, follow safety policies, maintain required paperwork, and participate in mentorship to develop hands-on skills.

Candidates should have a GED, 1+ year related experience or training, ability to obtain CDL, pass assessments, and be willing to travel up to 90% as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years related experience and/or training.
• Clean driving record and ability to obtain CDL within 90 days.
• Must be at least 21 to operate field vehicle.
• Able to pass Work steps assessment.
• Will be certified prior to operating a forklift and/or man lift.
• May be required to complete DOT physical.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
• Flexibility to work various schedules including shift work and overtime.
• Pass CAT Can test with minimum score of 80 and Bennett test with minimum score of 65.
• Requires basic knowledge of tools.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs and tasks to meet flat rate times and re-do metric.
• Work safely and follow WCAT safety policies and procedures.
• Complete related paperwork and access databases required to complete job (work order, parts order, JSA, DBS, SIMS, SIS web, STW) accurately and timely.
• Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations.
• Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components with supervision.
• Operate cranes and rigging equipment with supervision.
• Complete all assigned training in a timely and proficient manner.
• Perform and excel in mentorship environment.
