Job summary

RealTruck is seeking a Machine Technician in Texas to set up, operate, monitor and troubleshoot production machines. The role includes performing preventive maintenance, inspecting parts to specifications, and adjusting tooling as needed to maintain quality.

The technician will train operators, ensure production rates per BOM, and maintain 6-S cleanliness while meeting safety and quality KPIs across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; experience considered in lieu of requirement.
• Associate degree or technical school training preferred.
• Experience operating manufacturing and process control equipment required.
• Thermoforming, Injection Mold, or related machine operator experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot machine inefficiencies.
• Support and train operators on various machines.
• Operate machine to maintain production rate with high quality and minimal waste.
• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure parts meet visual standards.
• Produce parts in quantities per production schedule.
• Perform pre-operation setup activities for equipment startup.
• Adjust machine settings to specifications and timelines.
• Follow KPI targets for safety, quality, production, efficiency and service.
• Report material utilization and ensure daily production reports are up to date.
• Identify tooling needs and inspect molds and components for wear or damage.
• Maintain clean work areas and 6-S standards; communicate with team and leads.
