Job summary

Join ARK Systems, Inc. as a Low Voltage Systems Service Technician in Frederick, Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and servicing alarm systems including fire and security systems.

The ideal candidate will have an AA degree in Electronics or equivalent experience, be knowledgeable in NFPA alarm requirements, and possess strong communication and customer relations skills. ARK offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret NFPA alarm codes and handbooks.
• Capacity to obtain Maryland and Virginia security technician license.
• Maintain good driving record for job site travel.

Responsibilities

• Install system wiring as required.
• Complete paperwork per company requirements.
• Troubleshoot and program systems as necessary.
• Manage truck inventory control.
• Respond to after hour service calls as required.

Knowledge of NFPA alarm system requirements

Customer relations experience

Field electronic practical experience
