Xammax is seeking a Field Project Coordinator in San Antonio to oversee low voltage installation projects in the field. You will lead a small crew, perform copper and fiber terminations, install devices, and serve as the onsite contact for customers and contractors.

The role combines hands-on technical work with leadership, scheduling, and safety responsibilities. Strong communication, planning, and troubleshooting skills are essential, along with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in low voltage/structured cabling installation.
• Strong ability to lead a small crew and coordinate activities.
• Reading plans and translating them into field tasks.
• Experience installing TVs, access points, and cameras.
• Familiarity with MDF/IDF layouts and cabling standards.
• Basic knowledge of networking equipment setup and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a field crew of 1–3 technicians and assign tasks.
• Perform copper and fiber data terminations and testing; document results.
• Install low voltage devices and configure basic systems.
• Act as primary onsite contact for customers, general contractors, and internal teams.
• Monitor material usage, progress, and job site timeline; report updates daily.
• Ensure safety protocols and plan execution align with project scope.
