XS Telecom is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to lead low-voltage projects in data centers. You will drive project scope, budgets, and schedules while coordinating with field teams and clients on high-profile installations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing structured cabling and low-voltage projects in data centers.
• Experience in low-voltage commercial construction and data center environments, including estimating and writing quotes.
• Overseeing overhead pathway installations, copper and fiber optic infrastructure installations.
• Strong knowledge of BICSI standards, EIA/TIA codes, and data center practices.
• Managing subcontractors and technicians to ensure timely, high-quality installations.
• Coordinating with general contractors, electrical trades, and IT stakeholders.
• Writing and interpreting MOPs, SOWs, RFIs, change orders, and project schedules.
• Producing as-built drawings, test results, and closeout documentation.
• Material management.
• Comfortable in live data center environments with strict access protocols.
• Follow detailed proposals and manage on-site delivery.
• Strong strategic planning, team leadership, and conflict resolution

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality project execution in compliance with company policies and safety protocols.
• Assist in managing changes to project scope, plans, and timelines using RFIs and Change Orders.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships by regularly visiting job sites and expanding the customer base.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and communicate them clearly to the field team.
• Create and monitor project budgets and schedules, taking corrective actions as needed to meet expectations.
• Lead, mentor, and coach teams to achieve goals and support professional growth.
• Review and improve project efficiency, productivity, and job cost performance.
• Promote and enforce a safety-first culture, ensuring all project teams follow safety policies and standards
