West Bend Insurance Company is seeking a Loss Control Representative for the Northern Michigan region, covering Grand Rapids, MI and nearby areas. You will conduct onsite risk assessments, analyze exposures, and provide service plans and recommendations to prospect, new quote, and existing accounts.

The role is field-based, requires 3–5 years in safety, strong communication skills, and a bachelor’s degree in safety or related field.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of experience in safety and health.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills.
• Problem solving, critical thinking, active listening, negotiation and decision-making.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Bachelor’s degree in safety, risk management, loss control, insurance or related field.
• Designation in safety, health or insurance (CSP, ASP, ARM, CIC, CPCU, etc.).

Responsabilidades

• Conduct onsite risk assessments and service for prospects, quotes, and existing accounts.
• Develop service plans and provide recommendations to manage risk.
• Consult with underwriters to determine account risk acceptability.
• Deliver trainings and present safety concepts to businesses and groups.
• Manage field service territory and build client relationships.
