Job summary

E&K of Denver, Inc. seeks a Field Leadership - Foreman/Superintendent to direct and supervise a trade crew, often 30+ employees across multiple trades in Denver. You’ll plan staffing, manage costs, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Responsibilities include daily cost review, coordinating subcontractors, attending meetings, and enforcing schedules and QA checks. Union wages apply; benefits include retirement and assistance programs.

Qualifications

• Completed 30hr OSHA Training.
• Completed Field Management Training.
• Ability to effectively manage crews of 30+ employees.
• Knowledge of tools, materials, equipment, and personnel supervision.
• Mathematics knowledge: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals.
• Advanced knowledge of Bluebeam, OST, and Quick Bid.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work on ladders, scaffolds, or stilts.
• Ability to read blueprints and comply with building codes.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise a trade crew on a consistent basis and frequently direct over 30 employees.
• Communicate staffing requirements to Production Manager.
• Participate in pre-planning for goals meetings.
• Ensure the job is properly staffed.
• Calculate unit costs based on material, hours, and labor dollars.
• Enter daily time and production data.
• Create job-specific QA tasks identified at job start.
• Perform routine QA inspections and generate reports.
• Generate material orders by area.
• Manage job cost through review and analysis of cost reports.
• Monthly forecasting of job cost.
• Manage Subcontractors.
• Ensure on-site scheduling of materials, tools, equipment, subcontractors, and general contractors.
• Attend required training and all job site meetings.
