Job summary

Ruppert Landscape is seeking a Field Manager for Landscape Maintenance to lead labor and material in the field on contracted maintenance and snow removal projects. The role emphasizes developing staff, achieving contract renewals, staying within budgeted hours, and maintaining client relationships.

You will plan daily production, monitor hours and costs, supervise safety and quality, and collaborate with other field managers to meet branch goals. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience performing contract maintenance work.
• Two- or four-year horticultural or related degree.
• Ability to diagnose insect and disease problems and schedule treatment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record over the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise daily production activities on assigned contracts.
• Develop understanding of budgets, monitor hours and costs, communicate budget hours.
• Build good client relationships and attend to customer needs.
• Inspect work daily and complete property service reports.
• Sell extras through the use of T&M tickets.
• Maintain assigned vehicle and equipment in good working order.
• Develop staff through evaluations and training sessions.
• Contribute to branch goals with field management collaboration.
