Job summary

Ruppert Landscape is seeking a Field Manager for Landscape Maintenance to lead labor and materials in the field and ensure contracts are completed on time and within budget. The role focuses on developing reported staff, coordinating crews, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities include planning daily production, tracking hours and costs, supervising field operations, and participating in regular training to uphold company standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing others and working with service customers.
• At least 1 year of experience doing contract maintenance in a commercial setting.
• Two- or four-year horticultural or related degrees and two years of industry experience; substitutions allowed.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record in the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of branch philosophies, goals, and financial position.
• Get to know your team and set goals with them, monitoring progress.
• Participate in regular certification training sessions.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise daily production on contracts.
• Understand budgets, monitor hours and costs, and communicate budget hours to staff.
• Maintain good client relationships and inspect work daily for quality.
