Job summary

Ruppert Landscape Co. is seeking a Field Manager – Landscape Maintenance to coordinate crews, equipment, and materials across maintenance contracts, including snow removal where applicable.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction. You will hire, train, coach, and develop crew members; monitor budgets and job costs; drive additional revenue through service enhancements; and ensure work meets company standards and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Safety-first mindset and adherence to regulations.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in horticulture or related field preferred; equivalent experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with clean record over past three years.
• Proven leadership and development of teams across field operations.
• Ability to diagnose plant issues and coordinate treatments.
• Strong English communication and client relationship skills.
• Experience with vehicles, tools, and equipment used in landscape maintenance and snow removal.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and oversee daily production activities for maintenance contracts.
• Lead, hire, train, and mentor team members and provide ongoing coaching.
• Monitor labor, budgets, production hours, and job costs to keep projects on track.
• Ensure work quality and complete property inspections with service reports.
• Identify opportunities for service enhancements and revenue growth.
• Maintain strong client relationships to support renewals and satisfaction.
• Understand and improve efficiency, productivity, and customer value.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are safe and operational.
