Job summary

Town of Flower Mound in Texas seeks a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to lead a crew handling water distribution and wastewater tasks. You will train personnel, assign daily work, and ensure safety and quality across all operations.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a TCEQ Grade C Water Distribution license by hire, and the ability to obtain a Texas Class A CDL within six months. Two years of utility maintenance and one year of supervisory experience are expected.

• Ability to work long hours and respond to on-call emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance crew in water distribution and wastewater tasks.
• Oversee day-to-day crew activities, training, and task assignments.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure safety procedures and PPE usage on site.
• Assist with interviews, performance evaluations, and training of staff.
• Prepare reports and advise on purchases for water operations.
• Perform duties of utility laborers including mains, service lines, and hydrants.
