Job summary

Halbert Brothers Inc. is seeking a Foreman to lead precision rigging and industrial equipment installations in field projects across multiple sites. You will direct crews, interpret blueprints, and ensure safety and accuracy in every phase of installation and relocations.

This role combines hands-on leadership with logistical coordination, travel to regional assignments, and mentoring junior technicians in a family-owned environment with a long-standing reputation for reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in millwright or rigging.
• Experience leading crews in installation, removal, relocation of heavy machinery.
• Expertise in precision alignment, leveling, and heavy rigging techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to travel to regional project sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor millwright and rigging crews to ensure high-quality delivery on industrial sites.
• Coordinate complex daily logistics, manpower, and project timelines to maintain schedule adherence.
• Execute precision rigging and alignment for high-value equipment, including CNC machines and aerospace components.
• Interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and layouts to guide machinery placement.
• Oversee safe operation of forklifts and heavy rigging equipment per OSHA and DOT standards.
• Resolve real-time technical and logistical obstacles on-site to prevent delays or safety hazards.
• Communicate project status with managers, dispatch, and clients reflecting company values.
