Job summary

Advastar, Inc. in Greenville, SC is seeking a seasoned Drywall Superintendent for active commercial projects.

This field-based leadership role requires running the floor, staffing subcontractor crews, and ensuring quality on cold-form metal framing and drywall before owner walkthroughs. Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of commercial framing and drywall superintendent experience, a track record of managing piecework crews in non-union settings, and the ability to own projects from start to finish.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years minimum of commercial metal framing and drywall superintendent experience.
• Non-union commercial construction; experience managing piecework subcontractor crews.
• Healthcare, multifamily, hospitality, or commercial buildout experience.

Responsibilities

• Run active commercial drywall and metal framing projects in the field: staff and drive subcontractor crews, verify material, and hold quality.
• Catch cold-form metal framing and layout errors before they are buried behind board.
• Coordinate with project management on schedule and manpower.
• Hold finish quality on high-end commercial interior finish work before owner walkthroughs.
• Take dedicated ownership of a project as needed.
• Report to branch leadership.
