Qualifications

• 3-5 years minimum of commercial metal framing and drywall field supervision.
• Self-perform specialty-sub field background, not general-contractor experience.
• Non-union commercial construction; experience managing piecework subcontractor crews.
• Healthcare, multifamily, hospitality, or commercial buildout experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a significant plus.

Responsibilities

• Cover an active commercial drywall and metal framing project in the field: staff and drive subcontractor crews, verify material, and hold quality.
• Catch cold-form metal framing and layout errors before they are buried behind board.
• Coordinate with project management on schedule and manpower.
• Hold finish quality on high-end commercial interior work before owner walkthroughs.
• Report to branch leadership / senior field leadership.

A growing interior specialty contractor is hiring a Drywall Superintendent for its Greenville, SC operation to cover a commercial drywall and framing project starting in the next few weeks. The company self-performs commercial drywall and metal framing across the Upstate. This is a field-based role: run the floor, keep subcontracted crews staffed and productive, and hold quality on cold-form metal framing and drywall before it reaches the owner. • Anticipated $65K-$90K, based on experience
