Job summary

MC Machinery Systems Inc. is seeking a field service technician to be the go-to expert for Mitsubishi laser cutting systems. You’ll deliver on-site support across the region, with potential nationwide or international assignments.

Fully supported by thorough training, you can grow a lasting career in manufacturing technology. Travel Monday–Friday, primarily regional with some longer trips, and most returns home by Friday evening.

Qualifications

Experience with machining, manufacturing processes, or industrial machinery.
Ability to use diagnostic and measurement tools effectively.
Proficient with Windows computers and service software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Willingness to travel Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Mitsubishi laser equipment at customer sites.
Perform mechanical/electrical inspections, disassembly/rebuilds, alignments, and adjustments.
Provide remote phone support when on-site service isn’t needed.
Explain findings and timelines clearly to customers.
Use schematics and diagrams to isolate faults and guide repairs.
Record actions, root causes, and submit expense reports.
Maintain tools, test equipment, and service vehicles in top condition.
Assist with additional tasks to improve customer satisfaction and team operations.
