Job summary

Bechtel is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio, and seeks a field labor specialist to monitor daily work practices and support staffing and wage studies. You will help develop and present craft training, ensure compliance with labor laws, and facilitate communication to build strong workplace relations.

The role contributes to project staffing plans, wage trend analyses, and orientation program delivery, with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and adherence to contracts

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs research and develops statistical information on productivity and labor trends.
• Documents files for jurisdictional work assignments and tracks investigations.
• Extracts information from labor contracts and prepares wage bulletins.
• Monitors labor contract negotiations and disseminates progress.
• Maintains contract expiration records and supports staff planning.
• Assists with craft training and orientation program development.
