Terracon in Sulphur, LA is seeking a Field/Lab Technician to perform field and laboratory testing of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. You will observe, document, and report results to the Project Manager and maintain equipment and safety standards.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6 months experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable history may be required.
• ACI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Nuclear Density Gauge certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Perform field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials.
• Communicate results and testing requirements to Project Manager and team.
• Transport samples to the laboratory with documentation for analysis.
• Prepare and submit data and observation reports to the Project Manager.
• Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas.
• Follow safety rules and standards on all projects.
