Job summary

Terracon in Jacksonville, FL seeks a field/lab technician to perform testing, observation, and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, and related materials on construction sites.

You will prepare reports, maintain equipment, and communicate findings to project managers while following safety standards; a high school diploma and 6 months’ experience are required, with ACI certification due within 90 days and a valid driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of relevant field experience preferred.
• ACI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist on tasks under supervision and perform basic testing and observation duties.
• Provide clear documentation of findings and prepare data for submittal.
• Communicate results to Project Manager and ensure accuracy of data.
• Maintain and clean equipment and safety practices on all projects.
• Support scheduling and dispatch of Technicians to project sites.
