Medasource is seeking a Field Implementation Specialist to act as the main liaison for post-sales support. You will lead installation, validation, and training of clinical chemistry analyzers at client sites across the country, traveling up to 95% with occasional overnights.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Medical Technology or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a clinical lab or IT support in a clinical setting.
  • ASCP certification preferred.
  • Willingness to travel nationally up to 95% with overnight stays.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison providing post-sales customer support during installation and implementation of clinical chemistry and immunoassay analyzers/instruments at customer sites nationwide.
  • Validate analyzer installations to ensure proper setup and functionality.
  • Assess customer organizational structure, workflow, and knowledge to identify training gaps.
  • Develop and deliver training to customers on platforms, processes, and expectations, including planning and coordination for implementation.
  • Provide first-level troubleshooting and problem-solving for customer issues, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for new system consumables for clients.
  • Document and report on implementation progress, customer feedback, and issues encountered; collaborate with internal teams to improve processes.
  • Maintain extensive onsite presence with up to 95% travel, including overnights Monday through Friday.
  • Receive mentorship to develop expertise in clinical chemistry and immunoassay solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Serve as the primary liaison providing post-sales customer support during installation and implementation of clinical chemistry and immunoassay analyzers/instruments at customer sites nationwide
  • Validate analyzer installations to ensure proper setup and functionality
  • Assess customer organizational structure, workflow, and knowledge to identify training gaps
  • Develop and deliver training to customers on platforms, processes, and expectations, including planning and coordination for implementation
  • Provide first-level troubleshooting and problem-solving for customer issues, escalating complex issues as needed
  • Identify opportunities for new system consumables (e.g., reagents, primary antibodies, bio-markers, software) for clients
  • Document and report on implementation progress, customer feedback, and issues encounteredCollaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience and continuous improvement of implementation processes
  • Maintain extensive onsite presence with up to 95% travel, including overnight stays Monday through Friday, to support a national client base
  • Receive mentorship and guidance to develop expertise in clinical chemistry and immunoassay solutions
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Associate’s degree in Medical Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences
  • 3 years of previous experience in a clinical laboratory or IT support in a clinical lab environment
  • ASCP certification (preferred)
  • Ability and willingness to rapidly gain and apply new knowledge, solutions, and skills for chemistry and IT solutions
  • Effective customer communication skills (written and verbal), positive attitude, and ability to foster strong internal and external relationships
  • Strong time‑management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently as a field-based individual contributor with autonomy and self‑direction
  • Willingness and ability to travel nationally up to 95%, including overnight travel Monday through Friday
  • Must reside within 50 miles of a major metropolitan airport in the US (no relocation provided)
