Job summary

Terracon is seeking an entry‑level field technician to assist with testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials. You will collect samples, document results, and communicate findings to the project team.

The role emphasizes safety, equipment upkeep, and adherence to project procedures on site. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, around 6 months of experience in related work, and certifications such as ACI within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months experience in field testing or inspection.
• ACI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Nuclear Density Gauge certification within 6 months of hire (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist on tasks and perform basic testing and observations under supervision.
• Provide clear documentation of findings and results.
• Communicate information to Project Manager and discuss data accuracy for submittal.
• Submit documentation and communicate results as directed by Project Manager.
• Maintain assigned equipment and follow safety rules on all projects.
