Job summary

Terracon is seeking a candidate to perform field and laboratory testing and inspection of construction materials. You will coordinate with project teams, transport samples for analysis, and compile reports for the project manager.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety standards, proper documentation, and maintaining equipment and records on-site as part of Terracon’s testing services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid driver’s license may be required depending on site and records.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel.
• Communicate with the Project Manager, engineering technicians, client representatives, contractor’s representatives and others regarding site requirements and testing results.
• Transport material samples to the laboratory with identifying documentation for testing and analysis.
• Prepare and submit data and observations in written and digital reports for daily transmittal to the Terracon Project Manager.
• Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas; assist with scheduling and dispatch of Technicians to project sites.
• Adhere to strict safety standards and participate in pre-task planning.
