Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled field technicians to support a growing national client base. The role goes beyond the desk by installing systems, cabling buildings, and performing telecom tasks across multiple sites.

You’ll work in retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments, maintaining professionalism and readiness for on-call service in your territory. Ideal candidates have IT/Telecom experience, a solid toolbox, and the ability to handle varying site conditions.

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience (a strong plus).
• At least 1 year of IT/Telecom experience, and one of the following: A+ Certification; Network+ Certification; OR 5+ years verifiable field experience in IT/Telecom.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (including drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.).
• Work independently across various environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients.
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory.
