Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking hands-on IT/Telecom technicians to support our national client base. This role goes beyond the desk, including site work, cabling, and on-call service across varied environments.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year in IT/Telecom or 5+ years field experience, with A+ or Network+ bonuses. A reliable vehicle and driver’s license are required. This is a 1099 contractor role with travel pay.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience.
• Certification options: A+ or Network+ or 5+ years field experience.
• Must have reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling including drilling, running, and dressing cables.
• Telecom tasks such as punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments.
• Be on-call and respond to service requests within your territory.
