Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled hands-on IT or Telecom professionals to support our growing national client base. This role goes beyond basic helpdesk tasks—one day you might install an OS, the next you’re running structured cabling across buildings or terminating a 66-block.

You will work on-site across diverse environments and be on call to respond to service requests within your territory. This position offers paid hourly on site, 1099 contractor status, and travel pay coverage within an

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of IT or Telecom experience with hands-on hardware tasks.
• PC and printer troubleshooting experience is a strong plus.
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.).
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and respond to service requests within your territory.
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests in a timely manner.
