Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled field technicians to support our national client base. This role goes beyond typical helpdesk tasks, involving OS installs, cabling, and telecom work across various sites.

You’ll travel to different environments, maintain professional client relations, and respond to service requests within your territory. Ideal candidates have IT or telecom experience, are on-call, and carry the required tools.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of IT or Telecom experience with one of: A+ Certification, Network+ Certification, or 5+ years field experience.
• PC and printer troubleshooting experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
