Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled technicians to support a growing national client base. This role goes beyond basic helpdesk tasks, with on-site OS installs, cabling, and telecom work across diverse environments.

You’ll operate independently on various sites, stay professional with clients, and be on-call to respond to service requests within your territory, including travel with pay and time tracking.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of IT or Telecom experience.
• One of the following certifications: A+, Network+.
• Alternative: 5+ years of verifiable field experience in IT/Telecom.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across environments (retail, medical, restaurant, corporate).
• Maintain professionalism with clients.
• Be on call and respond to service requests within territory.
