Job summary

AMG Tech Support seeks skilled field technicians to support our national client base. This role goes beyond typical helpdesk tasks, involving OS installs, cabling, and telecom work across diverse sites.

You’ll work independently in varied environments, maintain professionalism with clients, and stay on call for service requests within your territory. The position offers a flexible schedule with on-site pay, and travel compensation within an ~80-mile radius from home.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT/telecom work with field responsibilities.
• Valid licenses, tools, and vehicle requirements stated in the ad.
• Certification credentials are preferred (A+, Network+).

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling including drilling, running and dressing cables.
• Telecom work such as punch-downs and demarc extensions.
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant and corporate environments.
• On-call responses within your territory.
