Job summary

Beacon Credit Union is seeking an IT Technician to maintain office hardware and cabling, ensuring high system availability and professional appearance across multiple locations.

You will install and configure PCs, thin clients, monitors, and networking gear, and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with the Infrastructure Services Team. This role requires 1–3 years of hardware experience and a current IT skill set.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications recommended.
• 1–3 years of hardware/IT support experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains hardware and cabling at BCU office locations; ensures systems run properly and look professional.
• Acts as first point of contact for user IT issues and collaborates with Infrastructure Services Team to resolve problems.
• Configures and installs computers, thin clients, monitors, and peripherals; updates OS and software using standard packages.
• Assists with hardware troubleshooting at office locations, including POTS lines and network components.
• Completes training to advance technical skills of the BTech team.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
