Job summary

Dobbs Defense Solutions, LLC is seeking a Field Support Services Engineer to provide technical support, troubleshooting, and customer assistance for mission-critical government systems. This role ensures system reliability, resolves issues, and delivers end-user training to field personnel.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining hardware, software, and networked systems, training customers, and collaborating with engineering to identify root causes and reduce incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with relevant experience, or HS Diploma/GED with 4+ years of related experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise IT systems, hardware, software, or network environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% (CONUS/OCONUS).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and system analysis for customers and field personnel.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and networked systems.
• Diagnose and resolve system and network issues to maximize operational availability.
• Train customers on system operation, configuration, and best practices.
• Partner with engineering teams to identify root causes and reduce recurring incidents.
• Travel to customer sites to provide onsite technical support and system implementation.
