Job summary

Planned Systems International (PSI) is seeking an IT Installation Hardware Technician to join a dynamic team that provides IT repair, maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services for Federal Government environments in the Arlington area.

You will troubleshoot hardware and network issues, install desktops and laptops, image devices, manage cables and peripherals, support customers while adhering to security requirements, document work, update standard operating procedures, and

Qualifications

Active T3 investigation and ability to obtain required security clearances.
DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+ CE).
DoD 8570 Compliance – appropriate training and/or certification for the computing environment.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and network issues including desktops, laptops, cabling, and printers.
Diagnose and resolve problems with office equipment such as printers and scanners.
Complete hardware work such as cable management, desktop installation, monitors, and imaging.
Provide input and updates to standard operating procedures.
Conduct validation of ticket information and escalate as needed.
Participate in/lead special projects and daily operations.
Maintain high level of customer service and professional communication.
