Job summary

ReqRoute,Inc in Massachusetts is seeking a Field Support Engineer to perform Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrades and related workstation deployments at client sites, including Cambridge and Andover. The role focuses on readiness assessment, workstation configuration, and software installation for enterprise-scale migrations.

You will collaborate with end users, application owners, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth transitions, accurate documentation, and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows 10/11 troubleshooting and upgrades.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory and domain-joined workstations.
• Experience with network basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and file/shares.
• Proven ability to document systems and provide clear updates.
• Bilingual/strong communication with end users and teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess Windows 10 workstation readiness for Windows 11 upgrade or replacement.
• Configure and prepare Windows 11 workstations per enterprise standards.
• Install business and instrument-control software per vendor docs.
• Coordinate with application owners and infrastructure teams during deployment.
• Perform troubleshooting of Windows, drivers, and network connectivity.
• Document results, issues, and resolutions in project tracking systems.
• Support onsite deployments at client locations (Cambridge, Andover, etc.)
