Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble structural components such as columns, beams, and girders.
• Read architectural/engineering drawings to determine placement and alignment.
• Operate cutting and shaping equipment (torches, saws, shears) to fit steel materials.
• Use welding equipment to join steel components securely.
• Rig and position heavy components using cranes/hoists safely.
• Adhere to safety regulations to prevent accidents on site.
• Inspect completed work to meet standards and project specs.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and managers to meet goals.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
• Troubleshoot misalignments or deficiencies during construction.
