Responsibilities

• Fabricate and shape structural steel and sheet metal, following blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Interpret architectural plans to accurately install steel, reinforce concrete, and erect steel frames.
• Use welding and cutting techniques to create, modify, and repair metal components.
• Direct crane operations to move steel materials around construction sites.
• Ensure alignment and precision of steel columns, beams, and girders during installation.
• Secure steel bars to reinforce concrete structures for stability.
• Collaborate with the team to solve construction challenges.
• Inspect older metal infrastructure for repair and restoration.
• Apply plumb bobs, laser alignment, and other tools for accuracy.
• Adhere to safety protocols throughout the construction process.
• Assist in installing finishing components like stairs, handrails, and curtain walls.
• Thoroughly check completed work and make adjustments as needed.
