Job summary

CES is seeking an Undercover Field Investigator to collect data for audits and investigations into fraud, waste, and abuse. The role combines analytical skills with meticulous review of documentation, interviews, and stakeholder communication to drive resolution.

Responsibilities include conducting field audits, compiling findings, and preparing reports for potential legal or regulatory use. 75% field work and strict adherence to regulations are expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree.
• Private Investigator license is required.
• 2–4 years of related field experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine audits/investigations from start to closure into fraud, waste, and abuse.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and escalating when needed.
• Compile detailed records of findings and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Apply knowledge to develop strategies to identify fraudulent activities.
• Interview witnesses, claimants, and stakeholders to gather information.
• Coordinate with internal teams for proper processing of investigations.
• Communicate findings clearly to customers and stakeholders with updates.
• Assist in training and supporting other auditors/investigators.
