Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine audits/investigations from start to closure into fraud, waste, and abuse allegations, ensuring accurate and fair assessment.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns, and escalate audit/investigation as needed.
  • Compile detailed and organized records of audit/investigation findings, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Apply functional knowledge to create and implement strategies to identify and prevent fraudulent activities.
  • Conduct interviews with witnesses, claimants, and other stakeholders to gather information and perspectives.
  • Communicate audit/investigation findings clearly to customers, claimants, and stakeholders, managing expectations and providing updates.
  • Assist in providing training and support to other auditors/investigators, contributing to process improvements.
